SEPARATE STRUCTURAL SUBDIVISION "APPLIED COLLEGE OF YURIY FEDKOVYCH CHERNIVTSI NATIONAL UNIVERSITY"
Separated Structural Subdivision "Applied College of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University" is a VET Institution established on July 18, 2002, as College of Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University and renamed into SSS “Applied College ChNU", by the adopted Law of Ukraine "On Professional Pre-Higher Education". It provides educational services related to higher education at the level of a junior bachelor and full secondary education.
As of September 1, 2024, more than 900 students study and over a hundred teachers work at the VET Institution which is the largest in the Chernivtsi region.
3 departments have been created and operate at the VET Institution: Natural Sciences, Economics and Law. The training of junior bachelors is carried out according to educational and professional syllabi in 6 specialities https://college.chnu.edu.ua/koledzh/publichna-informatsiia/litsenziia-ta-sertyfikaty/ :
- D1 Accounting and Taxation;
- D2 Finance, Banking, Insurance and Stock Market;
- D3 Management;
- D6 Secretarial and Office Administration;
- F3 Computer Science;
- F7 Computer Engineering.
Teaching Staff
The educational process is carried out by 74 lecturers, including a Doctor of Science, PhDs, teachers of a higher qualification category, Methodists: Doctors of Science - 1, PhDs - 12, Associate Professors (доцент) - 3, teachers of a higher qualification category - 28, methodists - 11. Among the number of educators there are lecturers who have more than 10 years of teaching experience.
Under teachers' guidance, students regularly participate in various subject Olympiads and competitions held between professional pre-higher education institutions that train professional junior bachelors. They also participate in multiple tournaments and competitions.
Conditions have been created for the personal development and self-realisation of students: social activities in the student parliament (student youth council); classes in sports sections and clubs; participation in public initiatives and projects at the regional and all-Ukrainian levels; volunteer activity; meaningful leisure time.
